The
Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) is
undergoing unprecedented growth due to the
success of its tribal enterprises. In order
to assist the tribe to effectively manage this
change for the betterment of the Cherokee people,
Cherokee Preservation Foundation (CPFdn) has
begun a multi-phase project to develop a comprehensive
leadership program that will focus on building
the leadership capacity of members of the EBCI.
Invited participants will come together October
24-25 in Cherokee, NC, at a convening whose
purpose is to produce concepts for a leadership
development program.
